Cooking Up A Storm At BHRAGS

Who said healthy food has to taste bad? Three consultants from Saladmaster© proved that healthy food can taste delicious last week at a cooking presentation they gave to staff at BHRAGS Home Care Corp., located at 9805 Foster Avenue.

They started with dessert, serving up a veggie cake, using cake mix but no oil, water or butter – just fresh vegetables, finely shredded.

Their guilt-free cake was a big hit with staff members as they sat and listened to the importance of proper nutrition at the October 5th seminar, held on BHRAGS’ premises.

Julian Montoute said, “Our food should be our medicine and our medicine should be our food,” while demonstrating the importance of using his “miracle skillet.” “Microwaves kill the nutrients in our food and ovens dry out food,” he explained.

The team showed how people with busy schedules can use their products to make meals that satisfy the recommended five to seven daily servings of fruits and vegetables. The talented team also cooked up chicken and a salad, containing fruits and vegetables, which satisfied everyone’s taste buds.

“If you want to live long, it starts with eating,” Montoute told the group.
