Bodega Held Up For Breakfast

Recent surveillance video footage reviewed by the 75th Precinct showed just how far someone would go for, what appeared to be, cereal.

On Monday, January 8th, an unidentified black man entered New Lots Deli Plaza, 621 Jerome Street, around 4:40 p.m. and walked up to the counter. Police said the man pulled out a knife and threatened a 44-year-old male employee. Next, the suspect pulled two boxes from a shelf and fled from the store in an unknown direction.

He is described as approximately 5’ 10” and 160 lbs. and was last seen wearing a black jacket with multiple patches, dark colored jeans and a bookbag.
