The unidentified victim, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene during the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 17th.

A neighbor, who lives a few houses away from where the body was discovered, said he heard loud noises before 1 a.m. and was shocked.

“This is the first time in 10 years anything like this has happened since I've been here,” said the man, who asked to remain anonymous.

A 71-year-old neighbor said he and his wife heard “Boom, boom, boom” around the same time. When he looked out his window, he did not see anything.

Police cordoned off the area well into Tuesday afternoon and continued to collect evidence from the scene. The investigation is ongoing as of press time. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
